Apr 10-12 LPTexas Convention

Over 300 Libertarian delegates, guests, and vendors from counties all over Texas, including Brazos, will assemble under the theme of “New Frontier” to nominate candidates for statewide office, elect party officers for the next two-year term, and hear from renowned speakers, including leading school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis, acclaimed anti-war author and Director of the Libertarian Institute Scott Horton, pioneering libertarian author and ethicist Dr. Mary Ruwart, investigative journalist and founder of The Conscious Resistance Network Derrick Broze, and liberty movement singer-songwriter Jordan Page.

In addition, LPTexas will hold a Friday kickoff event, the New Frontier Midway — an evening of fun, food, and entertainment open to everyone, outside the DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center with carnival games, live activities, and local vendors.
